Think you’ve had Covid-19? Worried about the outbreak? Leaving the house more? Shielding? As restrictions start to be lifted, a team of researchers at Imperial College London are carrying out an online research survey to better understand how communities in the UK are feeling and responding to the outbreak as the country eases out of lockdown.
In aiming to ensure Imperial’s Covid-19 modelling reflects a wide range of viewpoints, the researchers are particularly interested in hearing from people who have been shielding, are living with a chronic health condition or have been heavily impacted by the outbreak.
Gaining greater understanding of how people are feeling and responding to the outbreak and why can help to guide and improve how authorities plan, communicate and support the UK’s response. The research team are also working closely with the Imperial College Covid-19 mathematical modelling teams who use a variety of data to understand and predict the spread of the outbreak and how best to contain it.
The anonymous survey takes 20-30mins and closes at 11pm on Friday 3 July. For more information about what is involved, read the Patient Information Sheet and see Imperial’s website for more on the background to the study. To take the survey, click here.
