Do you have experience of working with marginalised, hard to engage women, in particular women affected by substance misuse and homelessness. Have you been affected by hepatitis C or have you supported anyone who has hepatitis C?
We are looking for a passionate and skilled female peer lead who has excellent communication and organisational skills. Experience of linking women into health or substance misuse treatment clinics would be welcome alongside creativity and innovation.
You will work closely with the University College London Hospital (UCLH) Find & Treat team supporting all aspects of the outreach service, including, testing, raising awareness and providing support. You will support the London hepatitis C peer project, sourcing venues for peer education sessions, providing support to peers and ensuring that the peers link patients directly into treatment clinics.
An ability to travel is essential.
