Education workshops for people
at risk of hepatitis C
Find out more about the education workshops we offer to people at risk of hepatitis C.

Since 2010, we have run a successful peer-to-peer education (P2P) programme which delivers workshops based on key messages about hepatitis C prevention, diagnosis, care and treatment. We deliver our workshops to people attending drug services, rehabs, detoxes and day programmes or those in supported housing.
The workshops are led by volunteers with personal experience of hepatitis C.
We consistently receive positive feedback from our workshops and attendees feel encouraged and empowered to seek testing and, if necessary, treatment.
What is the format?
The workshop is a one-hour group session that consists of a 20 minute presentation from our peer volunteer. Using their personal experience they help get across key messages to dispel the myths that exist regarding hepatitis C.
This is followed by a Q&A session and a simple questionnaire to find out what the group have been able to take away from the session.
How much do you charge?
There is no charge to services.
There is also scope for training a suitable volunteer or service user with links to your organisation to present the awareness talks as part of a national awareness campaign.
