On Wednesday 19th March, the House of Lords debated the second regulations on Infected Blood, laid by the Government in February. The Debate was opened by Baroness Anderson on behalf of the Government. Members participating in the debate stressed the importance of delivering compensation more quickly and raising concerns about the independence of the IBCA as well as a wide range of concerns regarding the development of compensation overall and the content of the second regulations in particular.
