Sir Robert Francis QC, the independent lead of a UK Government-commissioned review looking at options for a framework for compensation for those infected and affected by infected blood, has published the notes of the six meetings he held in 2021 with groups of people infected and affected, and one meeting with legal representatives.
The summaries cover meetings with people who have been bereaved, infected with hepatitis C, infected with HIV, multiple or co-infected, other people who have been affected, recognised legal representatives, and a final meeting for people who had been unable to attend one of the other meetings.
