Infected Blood Inquiry announces weekly update meetings

14 January 2022

The Infected Blood Inquiry team have announced that the Inquiry will be hosting virtual meetings after each week of hearings in January and February for people who would like to talk to other people infected and affected about their experiences of watching the hearings.

The announcement of the virtual meetings follows the recent news that Inquiry hearings are closed to members of the public attending in person while Covid-19 infections remain high.

The meetings will be an opportunity for people to discuss and reflect on the evidence heard over recent hearing sessions and put questions to the Inquiry team as they could if they were attending a hearing in person.

The meetings will take place on the following dates:

Friday 21st January

Monday 31st January

Monday 7th February

Monday 14th February

Anyone interested in registering to attend the meetings can do so here.

If we can be a source of information or support on any of the issues raised by the Infected Blood Inquiry, please don’t hesitate to get in contact with us on our helpline, 020 7089 6221 or by email to helpline@hepctrust.org.uk.
