The Hepatitis C Trust launching ‘Eliminating Hepatitis C in Scotland’ report tomorrow

9 January 2018

The Hepatitis C Trust will launch its latest report, ‘Eliminating Hepatitis C in Scotland: A Call to Action’, at a reception in Scottish Parliament tomorrow evening (Wednesday 10th January 2018).
The report follows an inquiry conducted by The Hepatitis C Trust and the cross-party Scottish Hepatitis C Parliamentary Champions group over the course of 2017, which involved oral evidence sessions and the submission of written evidence by individuals and organisations working across the hepatitis C patient pathway.
On the basis of this evidence, The Hepatitis C Trust produced the ‘Eliminating Hepatitis C in Scotland: A Call to Action’ report, outlining progress towards achieving the elimination of hepatitis C in Scotland, and making a series of recommendations for further action.
The launch event will be attended by MSPs, civil servants, third sector service workers, former and current patients, GPs, nurses and industry representatives, and will feature a panel discussion involving MSPs and a patient perspective talk.
The report will be published on The Hepatitis C Trust website on the morning of Thursday 11th January.
