The age and sex distribution of donors and recipients in 2007-2008, and patients on the transplant list at 31 March 2008, are shown in the table below. The 35-49 year age group had the largest proportion of donors (32%), and the 50-59 year age group had the largest proportion of patients transplanted (29%) and patients on the transplant list (32%).
