We are a small team of nurses that provide testing, vaccinations, counselling, support and referrals to the hospital for anti viral treatment. We visit 17 different community drug teams to offer our services and are now making advances to offer treatment ourselves. We have set up a hepatitis C support group that is only open to past or current drug users. As well as it being a group for clients to discuss concerns, fears, joys etc, we also have guest speakers and massage sessions.

It is a drop in between 1.30-3pm and is very informal for people living with Hep C or affected by i.e. partners, family members etc. We sit and chat and individuals are welcome to have a one to one discussion with a worker or volunteer if they do not wish to join in a group.
