Marianne Faithfull Suffering From Hepatitis C

Marianne Faithfull who is 60 has admitted that she is suffering from Hepatitis C which is a virus that affects the liver’s ability to function properly.

Marianne was said to have been diagnosed with the virus 12 years ago.

Speaking on This Morning Marianne said that “I don’t miss the drugs. I suppose it would be nice to have a glass of wine or something, but it really wouldn’t be good for my health. You know I do have Hep C. And the worst thing for that is alcohol. Maybe I’ve given you a scoop there… I found out about 12 years ago… So I’m very, very lucky too there. Life has become much more precious to me and my health has become much more precious to me.”

Last year Marianne was diagnosed with breast cancer, but she has since made a full recovery.
