Irish Health Department calls for publication of report for Blood Transfusion Service

A report for the Irish Blood Transfusion Service into why 34 donors were not informed they were infected with the Hepatitis C virus has been delivered. The donors were not told for several years they had the virus and were only informed in 2002 that the Blood Bank had known about their diagnosis much earlier.
