A Great British C Party event can be a breakfast, lunch, tea or dinner and could be as small as a handful of friends, an alternative office lunch break with colleagues, to a large gathering of people.
If you have noticed that awareness of hepatitis C is low in your area, or you are a support group looking for a novel way to celebrate World Hepatitis Day, or just looking for an excuse to enjoy the summer what better way to raise funds and awareness than by a celebration of good food and good company?
Although World Hepatitis Day falls on a Thursday you can hold an event at any convenient time.
The aim is to getting people together, having fun, and hopefully raising some money to help support all of those affected by hepatitis C.

You can collect donations at the event or by set up a fundraising page in just a few minutes on www.justgiving.com, a website dedicated to collecting online donations very simply.
Put up a poster in your workplace, local town hall or school or even your front window, post your event on Facebook and tweet about it on Twitter. Register your event with us so we can help to promote it.
